One of the coolest first person shooters is back with a new engaging plot, throwing our protagonist into the year 1961 and Nazi-engulfed United States. Wakened from a coma, BJ Blazkowicz (or Terror-Billy) does not have time to enjoy his comeback to health or celebrate the pregnancy of his beloved Anya, as the Nazi terror spreads all over the country. Well-known, vicious commander Frau Engel won’t stop at nothing, therefore you have to act quick. Take up your arms and go fight, unless you want to become the meat.
Fortunately enough, you can count on your friends, both known from the previous series, as well as new ones. You will meet Horton and Grace, the leaders of the local Resistance. Reunite with your old friends and fighting companions such as Anya, Caroline, Bombate, Set, Max Hass, Fergus or Wyatt. They are ready to help you find yourself in this alternative reality, where Wunderwaffe paves the Nazis’ way towards their world-domination.
On the other hand, there will be some bosses you will encounter from the previous series, with the ferocious Frau Engel at the head. All the protagonists comprise a really well-developed storyline, making all the gameplay between the combats a true feast.
As you can suppose, new types of enemies will be trying to hold back your squad. From classic infantry to retrofuturistic, armed to the teeth, atrocious robots, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus features countless threats to deal with. Don’t worry, though! New enemies means of course weapons to annihilate them, taking the shooting gameplay onto a new level. Tear Nazis apart with high-tech weaponry such as the multi-purpose, high-intensity laser weapon that can disintegrate your enemies or a rapid-fire, gas-powered grenade launcher, ideal to blast off whole groups of enemies.
Get up close to finish them with advanced pistols, submachine guns or hatchet. From quiet, melee sneaking to massive fulminations, the game offers a complete freedom of passing. It only depends on you and your imagination what kind of a Nazi exterminator you want to become.
Being on the market since 1992, the Wolfenstein series have claimed a considerable crowd of faithful fans, eager to play the subsequent versions of the game. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus release focuses on the same mechanics as the previous title. Expect a fierce, fast-paced, engaging combat, where the victims are being counted in thousands. Get enchanted by the high-quality engine id Tech 6 and improved graphic textures, and special effects, which elevate the gameplay to a new level.
