Bodycam (PC) - Steam Account - GLOBAL

Bodycam is an Early Access tactical multiplayer FPS from Reissad Studio, built in Unreal Engine 5 around a true body-camera perspective. There is no crosshair, ammo counter, or HUD — players see their character's arms, torso, legs, and weapon as one physically connected body instead of the usual "floating hands" view most shooters use.

Bodycam was created by Reissad Studio, an indie team founded by two French developers who launched the game at 17 and 20 years old. It entered Steam Early Access on June 7, 2024, and remains in active development with regular major content updates.

No, Bodycam is a paid Early Access title, not free-to-play. It's priced around $33 on Steam, though the developers have stated the price may increase once the game exits Early Access, so buying earlier can work out cheaper long-term.

Bodycam is available exclusively on PC via Steam, running on Windows 10 or 11. There is currently no PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch version, and the developers have not announced console plans.

No, Bodycam is not a VR game. It's played on a flat screen with mouse and keyboard or a controller. Steam lists a community-applied "VR" tag on the store page, but this isn't an official VR mode.

Bodycam has no crossplay because it's currently PC-only, and no console release has been confirmed. Since it's limited to a single platform, all matchmaking happens between Steam players on Windows.

Minimum: Windows 10/11, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K, 8 GB RAM, AMD RX 5700 or NVIDIA RTX 2070 (8 GB VRAM), 50 GB storage (SSD recommended).
Recommended: Windows 10/11, AMD Ryzen 7 3800X or Intel Core i7-10700K, 16 GB RAM, AMD RX 6600 XT or NVIDIA RTX 3060 (8–12 GB VRAM), 50 GB storage (SSD recommended).

Bodycam includes Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Gun Game for fast-paced PvP, the competitive 2v2 Wingman (Search & Destroy) mode, 5v5 Body Bomb, and a round-based co-op Zombies mode across multiple maps.

True Body is Reissad Studio's proprietary animation system that physically links the player's arms, torso, legs, and weapon into one connected body, instead of the detached floating-hands model used in most first-person shooters. It's the core feature behind the game's body-cam realism.

Locked & Loaded is Bodycam's largest free update to date, launching September 2, 2026. It adds redesigned, stress-based reload and weapon animations, a full loadout and attachment customization system, an in-world Tactical Tablet replacing menus, FPV drones and RC cars, a rebuilt audio and sound-propagation system, the new Trenches map, and progression and optimization changes.

Bodycam is multiplayer-focused with no offline single-player campaign — it covers competitive PvP modes and a co-op Zombies mode. A broadband internet connection is required to play, as listed in the official system requirements.

Bodycam runs on Steam's VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) system alongside the developers' own detection tools. Cheating has been a recurring topic in community discussions during Early Access, and Reissad Studio has continued refining anti-cheat and reporting alongside major updates.

Bodycam is not intended for young children. The developers describe the content as involving realistic shooting and killing in combat scenarios, in line with typical mature-rated tactical shooters, so it's best suited to teen and adult players.
