Wardrum is a turn-based rhythm roguelite where you plan and execute your tactics in time with the primal pounding of a tribal wardrum for maximum impact. Lead a band of warriors through a harsh fantasy world, mastering rhythm magic to defeat the off-beat corruption threatening the land.

Gameplay

Wardrum combines tactical turn-based combat with rhythmic execution, requiring both strategy and timing. Command a warband of five warriors, each with unique abilities tied to specific beat patterns. Plan your moves on a tactical grid, then unleash attacks in sync with the drumbeat to maximize damage. Push enemies into traps, set up deadly combos, and adapt to dynamic battlefields filled with hazards. Death is inevitable, but each run strengthens your warriors, allowing you to return with enhanced abilities and new strategies.

Story

A sinister off-beat magic has spread across the land, corrupting settlements and twisting reality. As the last hope, you and your warband must journey through dangerous biomes, facing monstrous foes and fallen gods to restore balance. Guided by the Rhythm Mother’s blessing, you’ll repeat your quest after each defeat, growing stronger until the corruption is purged. The fate of the world depends on your ability to keep the beat and overcome the false gods.
