You are perhaps the most unfortunate person in the entire universe. You’ve fled your home, only to find yourself lost in space with a damaged ship. The main aim of the authors was to create a moddable game. Starbound is relatively easy to change. Even people without experience in the IT are able to handle this. Create new races, biomes, dungeons etc. Anything that might fit your gameplay style.
