It is the second game of the series of atmospheric adventure games initiated by FAR: Lone Sails. Changing Tides is kind of a standalone expansion to the first game. This time developers decided to change vast, sandy deserts into a huge water world. The game was warmly welcomed by players and gathered many positive reviews. The action of the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by powerful floods. In the game, players learn about a young boy and his ship, who embarks on a challenging journey, looking for answers to his questions, and a new home. The gameplay in FAR: Changing Tides offers a unique experience. In the game, players take on the role of a young 'captain', who controls a big ship all by himself. It is within the players' responsibilities to take care of all the operating systems running on the ship. During the adventure, players will explore various different places and areas - the remains of an ancient civilization, beautiful coasts, and flooded cities are but a few to mention. Occasionally, we will encounter some obstacles preventing us from continuing our voyage. In such cases, we will have to get off the ship and solve some environmental puzzles. The game does not feature any form of combat or fast-paced action sequences, however, players will have to deal with the omnipresent feeling of loneliness.
